Shawn is a PCI Certified Instructor.  He's been playing pickleball for 4 years and giving lessons since he chose early retirement from his corporate position in media sales management in Chicago in 2025.  He was a 4 sport high school athlete and grew up playing tennis since he was 3 years old.  He chose to accept a soccer scholarship at University of Indianapolis where he was a 4 year starter and captain of the team.  After moving to the area in 2020, Shawn found pickleball and never looked back.  He's won a number of tournaments locally and regionally including qualifying and competing in the 4.0 Men's Doubles World Championship in Dallas in 2025.

Shawn and his lovely wife of 24 years, Ryan, and their 2 dogs, Willy and Winter live in Grand Beach full time.  They also manage their short term rental properties in New Buffalo.  

Shawn's goal is to make learning fun at all levels.  He's available for private and group instruction and looks forward to elevating your pickleball game in 2026.
